The 2007 LĂ©oville-Las Cases is beautiful. Offering a youthful, tight style at first, it opens up nicely with time in the glass and gives up classic notes of crĂšme de cassis, cedar pencil, graphite, and tobacco. With a medium to full-bodied, elegant, concentrated style and the sweet tannin of the vintage, it’s approachable today but will keep for another 15+ years. It’s a terrific wine in the vintage.
